Problem solving

Problem solving means that learners develop either an idea or ideas of how to approach a situation, considering possibilities and proposing a plan.

Collaboration

Collaboration means being able to work effectively with others to achieve a goal. It involves knowing your role within a group, being respectful of others, responding to challenges, actively contributing, and being reflective.

Critical thinking

Critical thinking means people con look at something from different perspectives, ask questions, be reflective, analytical and display flexibility in their thinking.

Self management

Self management means independently thinking about your surroundings, learning, actions, words and emotions. It involves making positive choices, and taking responsibility for your actions. It also requires people to be aware of the impact their decisions may have on others, as well as themselves.

Creative thinking

Creative thinking means thinking in different and ‘new’ ways. It involves exploring and trying new ideas, moving forward in thinking and application. It also involves a willingness to be flexible and take risks, and being open to new possibilities.
